WHAT ARE KRYSTALINE GROUTS?
The Krystaline Grouts provides unique C-S-H technology into their formulation providing a notably longer service life. Krystaline specifically designed these grouts to offer solutions for waterproofing issues in concrete structure repairs, construction joint design, tie holes, honeycombs, and all types of waterproofing problems that may arise on construction sites and for use in conjunction with Krystaline C-S-H Technology Admixtures and surface slurries. These materials are an important part of creating a white tank solution.
HOW DO CSH TECHNOLOGY GROUTS INCREASE SERVICE LIFE?
Kystaline C-S-H technology creates an enhanced hydration mechanism which increases the size and quantity of calcium silicate gel. The calcium silicate gels (the glue that keeps concrete together) tighten the pore and capillary network by creating increased C-S-H growth within the grout matrix through enhanced hydration.
The enhanced hydration will continue whenever water becomes present in the placed grouts allowing for dramatically heightened self-healing capabilities, resulting in a longer service life for the grouts as any future cracking will be self-healed in the presences of water or moisture. This will provide higher effectiveness and functionality for the grouts increasing their effective life and reducing maintenance costs over time.
