HOW DOES IT WORK
Krystaline Add1 CW is a hydrophilic C-S-H technology admixture which acts by crystallization. The active ingredients promote a reaction between water and unhydrated cement particles to form insoluble calcium silicate hydrates and/or precipitates that block the pores and capillaries of the concrete. These crystalline and gel-like deposits become an integral part of the concrete. The resulting concrete has a significantly greater ability to resist water penetration under hydrostatic pressure.

DESCRIPTION
Krystaline Add1 CW is a crystalline admixture specially designed to be highly compatible with concrete mix designs that contain high dosages of polycarboxylate superplasticizers and low w/c ratio. Unlike other crystalline admixtures, Krystaline Add1 CW does not reduce the strength of these concretes and even increases it.

Krystaline Add1 CW is added to the concrete at the batching plant or directly to the concrete mixer. Krystaline Add1 CW works continuously to prevent moisture penetration into the concrete by improving the hydration process of the cement particles and creating insoluble C-S-H gels and crystals in the pores and capillary network of the concrete. This hydration process not only provides waterproofing to the concrete, but also self-heals cracks, reduces shrinkage cracking and increases compressive strength.
